To Give is Better Than to Receive
In the spirit of this Christmas season, we wanted to share a story of when Sprague gave back to a customer. In the spring of this year, 2022, a gentleman called us for an estimate on his driveway, walkway, and sinking, concrete front stoop. After finding out the price of this project, he kindly voiced that he and his wife could not afford it. This United States Navy veteran was going through cancer treatments at this time, and he just wanted to enjoy sitting on the front porch and watching the sunrise again with his wife. He couldn’t do this anymore, due to the front stoop sinking.
His story touched our team, as well as the owners, Matt and Amanda Sprague. After the team discussed, they unanimously agreed to gift the entire concrete repair project to Bob and his wife!
Our installation crew lifted and leveled the concrete using PolyLevel. PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface. Our crew also applied NexusPro to the areas. NexusPro is a joint and cracks sealant that seals off concrete joints preventing washout and can be applied down to temperatures of negative 20!
Needless to say, Bob and his wife were incredibly grateful by the generosity poured out by Sprague Structural Solutions. We are so happy we could give back to a veteran and someone who was so deserving!
