Inflation Reduction Act

The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was signed into law in August 2022, introducing a range of incentives to encourage energy efficiency across the country. For Colorado residents, this means exciting opportunities to save even more on energy-efficient home upgrades.

The Colorado Energy Office is currently developing two rebate programs under the Inflation Reduction Act. These programs will provide funding for income-qualified homeowners throughout Colorado to improve home energy efficiency and upgrade to electric appliances. By making these updates, homeowners will enjoy reduced heating and cooling costs and improved indoor air quality while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

While the Colorado Energy Office submitted funding applications for these programs in Spring 2024, the rebates are not currently available. Colorado residents can sign up here to receive updates from the Colorado Energy Office regarding the status of these programs.
